Hard agree. I think a lot of time we get frustrated with people who know very little, yet believe that the reason we don't jump on every passing trend is because we're not tech savvy. There are several reasons someone can look at the same thing as you and come to a different conclusion, and only _one_ of those is that they know less than you do.
