To clarify since it seems you missed my point, if you refuse to learn TS you'll either limit your opportunities for employment or you could get hired by people who think you might be willing and able to learn it and let them down. If you do that, you deserve to get fired. Hopefully this clarifies enough you can go back to whatever you were doing.
