I do think, though, that we all need to step back and think about what these tools actually _do_, and why we need that. I read a discussion on the stylelint github where the stylelint team decided they want to force everyone to use style modules in exactly the way they think is best practice and not let people customize for what's actually best practice. Which means that many people will just not use a linter for their css.
