I don't think you understand what "play stupid games, win stupid prizes" means. It means if you say something incorrect or offensive, you can expect people will react, and you might not enjoy that reaction. I.e., yes, you are free to say whatever dumb shit you want, but other people are also free to tell you how dumb that was.
