There are companies out there that will value what you, specifically, bring. But you have to start truly believing that the package you have is really valuable and learn how to sell that. When you interview, present yourself as yourself. A lot of companies will pass on that, and, that's great--you dodged a bullet. But the ones that accept the real you that you show in interviews, against all conventional advice--they want you.
