I have never owned an iPhone. When Apple led the other lemming phone manufacturers off the cliff of making it hard to use the phone as a phone by taking off the buttons that allow you to actually make and hang up calls, that pretty much sealed the deal for me. I hung onto the Android phone I had with those buttons until I unfortunately dropped it in some water and had to replace it with a less-capable device. I once borrowed a friend's iPhone and I handed it back to her very quickly because I thought it was broken because of its lack of a back button. So I totally understand your frustration at how Apple keeps removing features and convincing its loyal buyers they want less this year than last year, and that less is worth more! What I don't understand is why you'd complain about this tendency on Apple's part, which has been going on across their products for over a decade--and apparently it hasn't convinced you to just buy a product with the features you actually want (which will almost certainly cost less!)
