I recently started at a shop that standardizes on Macs, and I have many of these beefs with my machine. People think I hate it because it's unfamiliar to me. No, it's deliberately unfamiliar to me because I have not felt Mac OS has been able to hold a candle to Windows since like 1995, and then they have the nerve to charge more! It's so weird to me how people in tech seem to think if you don't jump enthusiastically on things they have convinced themselves are fabulous that you are just ignorant (looking at you, Typescript).
