I think a lot about "nice" people who would never ever say an openly cross word to you, but will completely mess with your life (for example, my sister cries if I say "fuck", but she'll tell me she's going to meet me at 10, call me at 11 to say she'll be there at 1, and then show up at 3). And then there are the ones where if you take their words at face value, they're fine, but there's a backhanded sting hidden underneath the words. I'd rather deal with the open insults.
