I think it's the height of arrogance to dismiss Uncle Bob Martin as "advanced beginner," and I came across many of these viewpoints in my research for the article. IMO, they fall into the bucket of "people who suddenly 'discover' that decades of best practice don't apply to them anymore." I think most of these people aren't as smart as they think they are.
I'm also deeply curious why, if you agree with their line of thinking (which leads to hooks), then your ultimate conclusion is more in line with mine--that we shouldn't be doing business logic in the View layer (fetching is just part of that, also the kind of side effects that we used to handle in Sagas before RTK Query tied all of that up in a nice little indecipherable bow for us).
