And just to help with your reading comprehension, she's talking about a woman who read Cosmo growing up and "thinks" certain terms are Gen Z talk, when actually they stem from Black culture. Honestly I've never heard those terms, so if someone in Gen Z said them to me I might assume they were a Gen Z thing as well. But I'd be open to hearing otherwise.
