It just doesn't seem to have made a dent to you how disrespectful it is to contact someone who is probably already working 40+ hours a week, who probably also, you know, does things that don't relate to work and ask them to jump through hoops on the off-chance you will offer them a job. This only remotely makes sense for someone who already has an end date.

I guess this is a wakeup call for devs to not be super eager to talk to those hundred recruiters who call us every month.
