Let's not forget Black women's voting rights were thrown under the bus as well. And the nice thing about the Left relative to the Right is it encourages people to introspect and grow. That's why when Democratic politicians are involved in scandal, Democrats call on them to resign, whereas Republicans don't. It might hurt the party in the short term, but sacrificing your principles is never beneficial.
