My aunts told me a "funny" story about my dad and my uncles and how they would sneak around in the dark and scare black people on their way home. I'd like to believe that my dad and uncles and my aunts really didn't see that the reason the black people found this so scary is that white people stalking black people was an actual, terrifying threat.
