My ex husband and I did things together neither of us could have done apart. And, frankly, I miss the life I had when we were together. But I don't miss _him_. That's actually why we're divorced. When we were married, there were several times we needed to live apart. He was miserable alone and thought I should be as well. But I've always been comfortable in my own skin, so I was content in my separation. That bothered him in ways he didn't tell me until it was far too late.
