Thank you for your comment. It only decreases cognitive load for people who are already fluent in TypeScript. But what I've seen is it takes at least 6 months in TypeScript before TypeScript isn't radically slowing down development. During that time, you have a lot of really _bad_ Typescript being written. I don't believe it's a given that spending all that time in TS pays off more than other things developers could be doing with the "Typescript tax" time.
