We were constantly thrown into conflict with each other, because management appeared to believe that you could throw 4 people at a story with 4 tasks and get it done in a sprint, even if you repeatedly told them one story had to be completed first. And we were mostly treated as interchangeable. There was zero thought to if someone had the skills to perform a specific task--if they said they could do it, they were assigned it, and we all pretended very hard they had completed it at the end.
