The only thing I've done in AngularJs was that one Angular 2 project. In general, I thought it was well-thought-out, but I believe the all-in approach to TypeScript and RxJs hampered its uptake. It was just a couple of bridges too far for the JS community as it was at the time, so React won the marketing war by tackling the part that was easiest to build (which also was the part that was easier for developers to pick up quickly). Maybe I should have added that as an explicit lesson: if you're good at marketing, it almost doesn't matter if you're good or bad at the "thing" you're marketing. And, at the time, no one was better at marketing than Faceboook.
