There's a way to use React that doesn't create thousands of objects that will not be used every render cycle. If you know that the way you're using React creates a bunch of waste and you still do it, then you have knowingly chosen to create a lot of waste, which is your right. However, I think lots of people do not know this. It's like if you shop at a superstore with a huge roof and a giant parking lot, you may not realize that this place you're supporting with your $$$ is likely contributing to erosion and preventing any aquifer that might be beneath it from recharging properly. Once you do know that, it's up to you to decide what the tradeoffs are of shopping there are. If you "feel bad" because you know this and shop there anyway, that's not the fault of the person who told you this is so. It's your fault because at some level you feel like the tradeoffs aren't really worth it, yet you decide to do it anyway.
