This doesn't line up with my experience with companies. They want exactly the tech stack they use and they can't imagine if you're not using the tools in it daily for a year or two that you could pick it up quickly because you have the foundations to understand theirs. Unfortunately, hiring managers and recruiters don't know what it takes to succeed in the job and don't have great imaginations.
