Well one way to get people to value women more is in instances where we as a society are paying for it, just valuing women more. So, in schools, place equal (or, hey, why not more) emphasis on the success of the womens' and girls' teams relative to the male teams. If people see that growing up, they will take it as the natural order of things, just like they assume that what they see now is just the natural order of things.
