Yeah I think that other one was something like a 20 minute read and I didn't have time that day. Honestly, IDK where you find the time to write such long pieces to convince people who, were they willing and able to take your viewpoint onboard, would have done it months or years ago.

Also, it's the job of a Sr dev to write code in such a way others can use and extend it with a minimum of extra time.
