You act like none of those layers take profits. Part of the price you pay for things is profit--and that part is cheap for companies to take out when taxes are low, and expensive when taxes are high.
You also act like shipping is free and instant, and dealing with people in other timezones who don't speak English as a first language is free, and tariffs aren't a thing either. A LOT more plays into business decisions than just price of raw goods and labor, whether or not that's affected by taxes.
