You could argue that most of the billions they have that let them do all this stuff was stolen from their workforces and the taxpayers that subsidize their low wages. What could we as a society have decided to build with the money we gave to Walmart workers in foodstamps and other government programs. What could those workers have done if they didn't have to work multiple jobs to feed their kids? What could their kids have been if they had seen more of their parents. So, sure, they throw back a few scraps to get this kind of publicity. Yay.
